Testimonial after a talk at ……

What a lady!  Fantastic talk.  She told us a little of her life up to  being a mole catcher and that had us all in tears of laughter

She told us about the TV series on ‘Dave’.  How they contacted her in the early hours of the morning and she thought they were joking. OH NO.  They wanted her in Australia handling crocodiles, snakes and spiders and probably any other creepy crawly.  As the only Lady Mole Catcher, life became more serious.  Mole catching.  Moles are incredible creatures, but there are not hundreds of them, but hundreds and hundreds thousands of them.  All digging in your garden.  No – not all at once, but plenty of them.

She explained how people try to get rid of them/Kill them – usually in the most inhumane way possible and can often cause suffering to the moles and even  injure the people.  She showed us how she does it and to be honest  it was quick.  A second and all was over.

We had a great evening and she followed the whole event with a quiz and the prize was a bottle of red or white wine, which was won by the ladies on the back row and they opened the bottle up and drank it all.
