Laura Harris & The Makers Theatre present MOLE MAN THE MUSICAL
What a delight it was on Friday 31st July 2026 to watch ‘Mole Man the Musical’ and meet Laura Harris, the creator and director, and the amazing cast.
Laura had contacted me two years ago to understand the mysterious world of mole. The interview she recorded then was used as evidence of why mole had committed the act of causing earth worms environment to collapse.
Very creative, professional, and fun production from the view of the earth worm’s environment in the subterranean world it shares with mole. If the show goes on tour, it’s a must see!
The Makers Theatre is a London-based theatre and creative arts production company working together with established and early career professionals alike; across a diverse programme of entertainment-focused, unique and passion-infused creative endeavours.
From The Makers Theatre Press Release: “Set in the subterranean, a family of worms faces an ever-growing problem; the rumblings have been getting louder, and a sinkhole has opened up above them. Exposed to the skies, Mole Man’s digging has gone too far this time. Incensed by fury, fear and their own sense of justice, we follow the worms on their journey to court where Mole Man and his digging are put on trial. The show takes inspiration from the true story of William Lyttle, a man who dug extensive tunnels under his London home in De Beauvoir, Dalston. Mole Man The Musical seeks to explore obsession, conformity and mass hysteria, disguised as musical theatre.”
